Title: I wanna go freshwater fishing today...

But I don't know where. I was going to go maybe at Assunpink, but I'm not 100% sure if that be a good choice. I don't want to travel far at all, cause I'm going to go when my son is taking a nap  ;D

Go for it!  I read the lake is some what ice covered, but there are areas open where you can fish from shore.  Shiners seem to be producing the best for lm bass.
