Went down and got my IBSP pass number 4618 if i remember correctly went out on the beach for a little while with the wife and dogs got to test out my 2 new rod and reel setups was fun the storms lately had made the sand soft and fun to navigate rgmn overall was a great time and really pleased with buying the pass cant wait to see all you locals down there this spring.
posting pictures as soon as my phone lets me email them to myself :P got some nice pics of my truck and dogs on the beach
o and as for catching 2 skates thats about it :-\

Great to add you to the list of hopefully regulars down here. The park does get very crowded in the summer months but over all it is one of the most relaxing spots around.
I have been fishing there for almost as long as I can remember. Fantastic fishing once you get use to reading the beach and its constantly moving structure.

I thought they gave you a map at the guard station?

the guy only gave me a tide chart but probly has one ill get it next time im down there
beware if you drive out on the beach recent storm has made some serious soft spots at the top of the beach t^ bottom of the beach is hard enough though

That's the best I can find as of right now. If I come across my map I have, I'll put that up.

There are only 3 access roads the first is Gilkins at the north end (look for sign on right), A7 in the middle and A23 all the way at the end of the paved road. The maps are a little vague but better than nothing.
