I'll be there by 9am. Not sure if I'm gonna last all day.
As if I didn't have the itch to fish bad enough, this will be salt on the wound.
FYI - there is a cafeteria at the college for lunch, but last time the menu was limited to cheap burgers, dogs, chips, soda. I'll be stopping to pick up a sandwich on the way this year.

Anybody go to this? 5hrug

Yup I went. Was a really fantastic show in regards to the seminars since I am a way beginner in terms of surf fishing, but I can tell that you would have been drooling over the lures and other stuff they had available!! <g>
I caught the seminars on rigging eels, casting techniques, DJ Muller's "show", hilarious Rich Swisstack on the Raritan spring fishing scene, a great listen about bunker and finally finishing up with Alberto Knie (crazy alberto) who kept the packed room entertained for almost 2 hours with his info about tides (had to be between 250 and 300 people in there). There was something for everyone and then at the end, we all waited in anticipation with tickets in hand hoping to win one of the giveaways. The prizes were fantastic but alas I was not able to win one of them rgmn As the saying goes.. ya shoulda been there!!!

Cool RK! I'm glad to hear you liked it. I was going to go, but decided I didn't feel like doing the all day thing and hit a local flea market instead.
You're right. I probably would have been drooling over all the lures there! ;D
I should have gone. It looks like a lot of the same folks that appeared at Surf Day for $10 will be at this other thing I'm going to in March that cost me $100! :headscra:

I was really surprised with the diff between last year and what this year turned out to be. The two side by side rooms last year for display and seminar were now "the" display room for the vendors. Downstairs in the same building they used a large meeting room and a classroom for the seminars and went from 3 seminars last year to 10. Definitely got your entry fee money's worth. There are some lure photos online at "other sites" if you want to drool a little ;D

Me and BobG will be there also. I think Capt Mike will also be in attendance. t^

I attended.. The club did a nice job of organizing everything, and mostly everything ran smooth. The seminars were good but the room where the vendures set up was tight.
