Title: Andreas Toy First Midshore/Shark-Tuna report
Post by: Andreas Toy on June 25, 2007, 08:03:22 AM
Had Pete and Leo Germinario on board for a midshore trip and Friday only Mako tournament. First drift had no sharks but jigged our first Bluefin of the year to 33inches, made a move to the southeast and had sharks in the slick for the rest of the day over 10 Blue sharks up to 12ft in length were cruising right up to the boat. Fought a couple to keep us busy until the "man in the blue suit showed up", landed our first Mako of the year 63 inch, 130lb Mako.

Thanks guys, fishon-mako steaks are just like swordfish, kahoots-fish was 63 inches fork lenght if you take the time to look it up it would weigh betweeen 120-140lbs depending on girth.
