im new to IBSP this year and was just curious what is most commonly caught there besides stripers and blues slt chrz

More common are fluke, sharks, dogfish, sea robbins, sundials, skates, rays. Less common, but not unheard of weakfish, croakers, black drum, kingfish, down at the inlet you can get tog, sea bass, trigger fish and blow fish.
Lots of life along the jersey shore and IBSP has its share!

Just to add to the list, some of the deeper cuts have been known to have a mad dog stargazer bite ;D. Plenty to catch but some times you may have to be flexible. Mullet rigs and plugs will only produce certain times. 1 and 2 ounce bucktails in the wash or a kingfish rig can save a day. Good luck and enjoy yourself.
