Daiwa Black Gold Series

got my new reel its a DAIWA black gold series tournament reel model 90 (the big boy) cant wait to test it out hopefully this coming week...the bottom 2 pictures was my cleaning project this morning cleaned all my rods and reels and just re-organized. This is my second daiwa the red reel is a daiwa emcast and i love it so hopefully this one will be good to i will post a detailed review after use. Really pretty with the wood though i think its cool.

Definitely a good, old-fashioned, no frills, workhorse of a reel. 

The only problem I've seen with those reels, other than breaking that little plastic handle cover (my fault) ;D, is that the rotor nut sometimes works itself loose.  A tiny drop of Loc-tite on the threads will help out with that.

haha yeah that almost happened to me i did the same thing lol. Yeah i like the blunt functionality of it heavy duty haha...now i just need a big striper at the other end of the line  chrz
