Okay, everyone is still gearing up for the season. I know I need more terminal tackle. Need to clean and grease a reel among other things. Get new dock line etc; etc; etc;
My question is How many of us are really ready? What else do you need to do or need to get before that first trip? Think about it :headscra:. post it. t^
Hopefully you can help another member out by remembering yourself.

ok, suppose to work as good as a butterfly jig

I have a few older lures just like that. Don't recall the name of the company or what they called the lure.

That looks just like a Kastmaster to me. Good for blues and bass, and in freshwater smallmouth seem to like the smaller versions. I wonder if it's available in different colored bucktails?
-
I have found that if I set my splash date early in April, I normally find my self splashing by mid-late April. Only because of everything put off till the last minute anyway.......

...or a Deadly Dick.

Extra line for the spare spools I have.

cool jeff...keep them coming.

When I look at Bucktails attatched photo, I see a big difference. It looks alot slimmer in width than a kastmaster.
