Recent events should draw the ire of fisherman far and wide.
Nowa has decided in their infinite wisdom that stikfish are endangerd. Proposed limits on logfish, treefish, railroadtie fish, and tirefish are also being considered.
All stikfish between 17 and 28 inches are keepers. All others can be caught but not landed. Penalties are stiff.
Some of the best fights I've had were with stickfish. They no right to take that away from me.

Hearings are being scheduled for public comment to establish guidelines to save this stick from overfishing and provide for healthy habitat so they thrive and survive.
