8am, AH Marina, first launch.
Question??? She sits 13 1/2' high on the trailer. What is the average height of the Parkway bridges. I get a bit nervous trailering that thing.. lol

Nice! t^

Most over passes are 13'6 I dono about the parkway but any were u go any bridge under 14' is marked just look for the sign if it looks low

i did a trial run last weekend, and none of the bridges were marked. Does that mean that they are at least 14'?

Best of luck! She looks sweet. See you out there.

Nick When in doubt stay in the middle of the overpass. I am sure you will be okay.
-
I was just checking and I think that the heights on the bridges is 16' as are the toll booths.

correct if it's not marked it's above 14'

Watch for trees hanging over the street on smaller side streets.
Don't ask how I know. rgmn

Nick, also be careful of residential areas where marked "NO Trucks" One of the reasons could be low hanging wires or trees. The average freight trailer Height is 13'6". If going any distance and you are worried, Stop in a truck stop get a Commercial Road Atlas and follow the truck routes. As previously stated the low bridges will be marked but, the idea is to know about them ( low bridges)
before you start your trip. Nothing like sitting in front of a 12'6" overpass with a 13'plus trailer and a big line of traffic on you azz blowing horns. rgmn

great.. i have 6" to spare..

my ride consists of rt 195 to the parkway.. thats OK..
Toll booths and parkway bridges from exit 98 - 117, hopefully OK..
once off the exit, I THINK I am OK depending on that road.

Nick. you have rod holders on the front of your truck. throw something in there at 13' you can always slow down to see if the pole makes it under.
-
Rod's smarter that he looks. Good idea.

::) ;D

Yeah, that way you will have enough time to crap yourself before the boat hits. fcp cfzd

rofla Yea. I was thinking the same thing rofla t^

Buses go up and down the Parkway all day long, and some parts by Tom's River is actually RT 9
Tractor trailers travel this short route also,
I don't think you will have a problem
-
your good from there on 36 nick....only overpass is the one by the Naval Station and pretty sure that one is over 14 feet.
-
Glad to report Nick made it to marina no problem.
Got up early 7 am after the party Sat. night.
Helped him get her into the new slip. Ready to fish whenever Nick calls.

Right on!
