Welcome to the site...... The nice thing about a kayak is you can fish just about any place that has water...... Fresh or Salt...... The other great thing is you dont need to find a boat ramp to put a kayak in the water..

I have found fish with my kayak in places where I would have never thought would ever hold anything but snappers and crabs in the summer months...... But these areas hold some great Bass,Weakfish and Bluefish in the off season.

Paul does have a good point.....where would you be fishing......Kayak waters are endless because you can get into such shallow water that you couldnt with a bigger boat.

Kayaking in the bay during the summer is great.  Stick to a lot of docks especially in the evening.  Like Dave mentioned you can put the kayak in just about anywhere which is great when fishing the bridges.

My favorite place to fish is in the back of IBSP out to the sod banks.  Great fishing back there and the boats leave you alone because if averages about 2 - 3 feet but there are a lot of cuts and holes that hold some great fish.
