We fought thru hi seas in Wagner's lot the other evening when a soon-to-be-rusted F250 plowed thru floodwater on Amboy Rd. and pushed up a nice 15' high roostertail to some nice swells in the lot. And she was still on the trailer! Who thought the tide could be too high to launch? It was...
Dinner and a couple sodas later, the tide receded. As Ya Sista'z A$$ rolled down the ramp, the lightning lit up the sky and the buckets rained down, but we got her in and all tied up without getting zapped. The canvas ain't up yet, and the fwd bilge pump seized after about 50revs, but the aft pump spins and the bilge remains dry so she ain't sinkin'.
Hope to shake her down soon... t^

Not me, silly, I only drive thru salt water in a land vehicle if life or limb is at stake. I was already in the lot; eased in from the (barely) dry side. That F250 was some yay hoo trying to hydroplane home from work like those snowmobilers racing across the (un)frozen lakes... (glub glub sound)
But I hope it pays off anyways...
