The Cows have arrived and they are going to get bigger and more numerous before the weekend is over.
I was over at Grumpys today and saw a couple of 30 pounders and a 20# weighed in and was told they weighed in a 34.70# striper. The larger one was caught in the park on a pencil popper and the others were caught in SSP on clams.
We are going into the New Moon phase so if you have the urge to get a big striper now is the time. The numbers are growing since Friday and it will probably keep on growing till Sunday. The water temps are just right, the bait are in close so all the factors are in line for a super week.
I will keep you posted, but if you are a surf fisherman and can get out now would be the time to start your hunt for that big cow.
Good Luck
Happy Catching

Tell me about it. I am trying to get out there tomorrow. I had to take care of some business there today. I did a painting for one of the owners and had to get it back to do the final varnishing on it.

Let me know if you're getting out there this week and I'll take a ride over.
If the weather cooperated, we're gonna try to get out a couple times later in the week / weekend.
