I have a 14-15 lb steelhead mounted, and a 27-28 lb striper mounted.
A. Would it be lame/stupid to mount a 15+ lb bluefish ?
B. Would you mount another striper if you already have one mounted ? And how much would it have to weigh ?

I don't see anything wrong with mounting a 15# bluefish. They are great fighters and would look good in a dead animal room.
For a second striper mount, I would maybe wait till you get that 40#er or better.

My rule for mounting fish is if I feel that I'll never get a bigger one of that species.

Do what your heart tells you to do.
I have mounted some fish that where caught under unusual situations for ME.
Bass..first one. 3am in morning in surf.on a Darter plug.
Blue...home made Popper plug in waders and water nearly up to my neck(and If you know me,that is not tooooo tall) rofla rofla
Weakfish...13lb 6oz tournament winner: Boat.
Take pictures too and enjoy. t^

Thanks guys for your input... yeah I wasnt too sure if it was stupid or not to get a BLUEFISH mounted. But I think I just may do that... chrz

It's not stupid...and if you can afford it, who cares if someone else thinks it is stupid! Just do what you want to do and what you feel is right for you. If I spent my whole life not doing what others thought was lame or stupid or not fun, I wouldn't do anything. Then when you do it anyway, you find out there are tons o€f others who enjoy that too.
You can even do a glass mount replica of the fish to save some money, but still have the fish "mounted."
