Was busy today fishing for some bait at virginia beach fishing pier quite a few drum are starting to be caught as well as some nice stripers only 30 yards from shore...so today it was game on time to get some spot for bait. Was using Fish Bites artificial bloodworms stuff is amazing if you ever use it dont be liberal with it cut it into 1/2 inch to 1 inch sections. at the end of the day i pulled in about 40-50 spot which will last me about 3 drum fish outings due to crabs haha. also a nice 18.5 flattie and some round heads in the mix. good luck to everybody and tight lines... oh and the peeler crab in my hand he was caught on fish bites too haha he is now a resident in my fish tank until i go for black drum  fcp

Maybe we will see you in the middle of July.  That is when we are planning on the trip down.  It will be in the middle of the week for about 3 days.
