Headed out at zero dark 30 with a crew of Lenny, Danny, Kirk and Billy for our first shark trip of the year - with the hopes of bluefins as a secondary target. Headed south to the Fingers and had a nice drift at just over 1 knot. Water was clean but green and 67 degrees. Spent 2 and 1/2 hours there with nothing. Decided to make a run and headed off to the Triple Wrecks - water was cleaner, bluer and warmer and things looked good. Fished til 2pm with nothing but bluefish showing up. Very little life seen - few porpoises, no whales, no tuna on top - more life inshore than off. Beautiful day on the water in spite of the lack of fish. God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops!!
