Greenkayaks sent me these picks..
Friend had a 36" pike on his line and look what decided it looked tasty!! ;D
Maybe he can add more detail..
-

-
You got to be kidding me! You shure that isn't photoshoped?
-
That's no PS Picture Trust me.
Greenkayaks said it was a long story..
Well lets here it ;D
I liked to know how he wound up landing it?
-
WOW! That is amazing
-
It was caught in MN the smaller northern was 36 inches and the big one was 54 inches and 44 lbs
It was caught a friend of a friend I want to get more details of the catch. And it looks like he missed the state record by about 2 lbs. Crazy looking pic
-
This is awesome. While fighting a 36" northern pike, a 54" - 44 pound
northern pike attacked the smaller fish and was brought into the
boat...!
This 54 inch, 44 lb. Northern Pike was recently caught at Rainy River in
northern Minnesota .

Scary pics....Man thats a monster pike.. :o

I saw that exact picture a while back. It is real, but by nobody from this site. I forgot what state it came from. It was in a article I read.

Wow..cool pics 4 sure! ..ya gotta love the Esox family in general for pure brazen aggression.. They think nothing of coming right up to the boat and committing random acts of violence for all to see!.. I remember an early experience with one..I was in the 1000 Islands area, and I was drifting along on a hot lazy afternoon..I had just caught a perch, and was kinda just letting it swim alongside, when the water around it erupted like a toilet flushing!..this monster Pike grabbed the perch and disappeared in a blink.. snapping the 4# like it didn't exist ..I about soiled my linens.. :o

Pike are the real "water wolves" of the lakes.
I was fishing for grayling in a stream entering a lake in Canada with a 5 wt, 6' flyrod when a 36+" pike came out of nowhere to snatch and bust my 5X leader to take the grayling on my fly for lunch. Scared the hell out of me; but what a site! TT^
-
Those pics are crazing. I'm really enjoy this site everyone. Thanks for sharing.

Twitch, link says video no longer available. :P
-
arrrggg OK Try again...
-
That is so cool. It looks like they are feeding them Cheerios.
-
I am not sure what they were feeding them, I thought maybe it was like some kind of corn mush or something like that. Mt wife has an Aunt and Uncle that have a nice piece of land out in the middle of nowhere and the Aunt makes the deer around there place corn muffins, they dont take from the hand but pretty close to it.
