Work took me to Tennessee last week and I had a chance to fish with some local pros and the fishing was off the hook! If anyone needs a summer Striper fix, shoot me an email, I have some buddies that guide there and tear 'em up. Enjoy the pics. We fished below a damn on the Tn river near Knoxville.

very nice.. what tactics do they use down there compared to NJ
-
The tactics are different but similar. You have to fish while the damn is running water through. The fish are not feeding while the damn is not running. You run your boat up close to the edge of the whitwater coming out of the damn and chuck your bait into the whitewater. The capt cuts his motor and you drift back. Have to be on the bottom (But we did catch a few on topwater right at dusk) and drift back away from the damn. Drift downstream a couple of hundred yards and re-set.
Bait used was live shad or bluegill on a 3 way with 2-4 oz bell sinkers or a 2 oz bucktail.
