Title: Va Beach CBBT Report
Post by: Capt. Scott S on August 03, 2010, 12:27:22 PM
Anglers:

Wow.....what a perfect summer it has been. The fish are here and in numbers. And we have been swamped.

1st I'll start off with the bait situation. I have seen more bait this summer than in a long long time. The bunker if Omega stays out of them are just thick. Balls and balls of nice schools. I hope they make it and the Striper get to take advantage of their numbers.

Now for the fishing. We'll I can just say the Spadefish are here and they are big. I stopped counting the citations that our anglers have brought in. Each trip has produced many many fish fries this summer for our anglers. Flounder numbers are on the increase and some really good sized flukes have are being caught now on live bait combo's.

Offshore....well the wind has kept us inshore for approx three weeks now. However for the folks making it out, Mr. Whitey is out in the deep and in full force. As soon as the SW wind in HI lets off we are in.

Stay tuned for upcoming reports and I'll be opening the "Striper Books" real soon.

See you on the water! Be Safe and here's to "FULL FISH BOXES"

Nice report..We just got off vacation and will rest up a week and be down to the CBBT Pier with the uncle and his grandson.  Should prove to be interesting.  We will be down on the 17th and fish the 18th only to return on the 19th.  Talk about a slam bam thank you mam...  That's okay its pretty cool to get 3 generations to go fishing.

Happy Catching

Paul
