Title: Market sized Stripers?
Post by: Hunter 2 on August 05, 2010, 10:58:44 PM
I went to the new local Italian market in town today to pick up some Mutzerella, Salami, Provalone,Gabagool, and I noticed the seafood section. $6.99 a pound for full sized 10" to 12" Striped Bass heads and tails too.   5hrug 5hrug  I never seen them so small. Right in front of me on shaved Ice.
I know we have had an epic spring run but where are these fish coming from?
Im just venting alittle,, dont mind me..

My Father's best words when he got teed off was, Bottellia Putana.  meaning,   Bottle Whore,( must have lost something in translation go figure) So, naturally I imitated him when I got mad but would get a smack in the back of the head from him when I said it at age 8. Then my mother would chime in with her favorite saying " Pigs I should have raised pigs instead of children,  They have more manners."    thud
