Post by: fishon42 on July 09, 2007, 04:31:52 PM
Is it possible to catch a baby tarpon in the Pt. Pleasant Inlet ? My cousin caught something that we thought was a snapper blue but it didnt have the face or teeth of one. I could have sworn. lol

Not too long ago, there were several stray tarpon caught in the area around the Shrewsbury Rocks and if I'm not mistaken a few years back there was one taken off Long Island. However, overall the are pretty rare up in these parts.
