Title: Trialer Bow Stop
Post by: sperzonkers2 on August 26, 2010, 11:02:33 AM
Hi all, the bow stop on my trailer is a board covered with marine carpeting. My boat is a Sundance skiff so it does not have a deep V. Where the keel is coming up onto the board the carpet has worn. Can I replace this board with a bow stop?
I am not sure as the boat being a skiff if this would work. Thanks!!

Hey Bill.. I think the bow of your skiff may be similar to that on my Jon boat? Basically a flat bottom with a slight "modified" v shape to the bow with a keel.. If so a wide roller like this may work.. I know there are lots of various shapes availabe as well, so you should be able to find something that fits well to replace the board..
