Title: Rack storage question
Post by: bassnblues on October 19, 2010, 10:17:41 AM
Does anyone know if it's possible to get partial year rack storage at marinas?

I'm thinking about what I want to do next year. I'm selling my 21'er and want to downsize to a 17 or 18'er. I'd rather not paint the bottom so I was thinking about doing rack storage in the RB area April to Jun and then trailer the rest of the year. I've heard of temporary slips but not temp rack storage.

Some Marinas are slow with this economy, Give Wagners 732-583-6930 or Browns Point Marina a call. They both have racks and are in Keyport.

If you want to head south, and catch Stripers, the marina I'm located in, Nacote Creek Marina on RT.9 Port Republic will do it. He is limiting his racks to 8 or 10 boats as space permits. Nice fish coming in now.

You can also check for marinas or lots that will store your boat on the trailer and then you just make the short jaunt to the ramp to launch.
