In certain parts of the season it is an OK spot. This is not one of those times. On weekends fishing the middle of those chanals is not much fun and can be danerous.

i've heard nightmares stories about alot of bulkheads and other objects all around the island. most of wich is submerged like the bulkheads that caught fire and burned to the water level at that time.
any truth to the stories?

I have never had any problems like that. It is just a race track with a lot of boat wakes.

Hi All,
There is a pretty big house boat way up on the marsh close to Rutgers Marine Lab. I wonder if salvage rights are good up there? I would love to get over to the island and take some shots there. I remember last year Weird NJ did a piece on the plant very interesting.
Happy Catching
