Set out today on calms seas with Capt Chad for a Bottom Fishing New Years Trip.
On board was Walt, Capt Alan, Dave B., Dave S. Jimmy M and myself.
Spirits were high and a great crew and boat.
First drop Walt had a Cod and Black Fish before the anchor came tight. Things slowed from there. Made 4 drops all told, picjing at fish everywhere, would get a FLurry and then would calm down.
The barrel was filled with Cod to 9 lbs, Ling to 4 lbs Tog to 6 lbs, plus all the Doggies and eeels you could want.
Chad gave it 120% put over 85 miles on the water, began the day at 0630, last drop ended at 430 pm
Great day with great guys, if the rest of the year goes as today I will be a happy camper.
Almost forgot CApt Alan caught a 3 lb Lobster :-)
Sorry no pic :-(
