They say by the Summer it will hit $5.00 per gallon .I am glad I down graded nosmly
-
Where did you here that Art?
-
Been on the Radio.
-
I hope they are wrong!!
5 Bucks this summer is gona hurt!
-
I talked to my gas guy and he said 4 bucks. Dam near as bad. Won't stop me from boating/fishing.
When I researched for a new boat back in 2001, I kept this in mind along with other factors such as job status, income etc. Its what led me to buying this Maritime Skiff. 20' boat, pilothouse,
small cabin w/head, just 90HP and a 29 gal fuel tank. Super low maintainance boat and superior fuel economy and most important seaworthy.

Then in another year they'll feel us out for $7.00 a gallon and make that happen
Amazing how they made money when they were regulated and sold for $1.50 (that was 7 years ago, not so long ago) and now they make obscene profits and it's never enough. But I guess thats why they were regulated...There crippling us with crushing overcharges that effect everything and it's all greed motivated..WAKE UP AMERICA
-
Are we talking at the stations or marina? 2 years ago wasn't it 4 something? I firmly believe the whole thing is manipulated. If they push it to high it will put the brakes on the economy. I think they know that they can't push it much past 3.75.
Just my thoughts.

5 BUCKS?!?! fcp nosmly

Just gonna have to get richer friends to pay for the fuel this year. ;D

-
Looks like the only time ill be in the ocean will be on my board! Bummer. chrz
-
Amazing. 5 bux a gallon on the horizon.
I watch deal after deal roll out the door where I work on SUV's and P'ups that avg 14-16 city and slighty more on the highway.
THEN the new owners come back in a week saying it cost $110 to fill the tank that lasted only a few days.
Hell, I understand the commercial guy who runs a construction/landscape/tow/etc business and NEEDS that size of truck.
Its the soccer mom, with 2 kids, who drives a 23 foot SUV with a 6 liter and bitches about gas.
Annoys me.
If you can afford the 90K SUV, you can afoord the gas.

One of my distributors has Minnkota Rip Tides on special.
I wonder how many Rod can fit on the back of the Parker to go to the Canyon? Heh Heh!!
Heck, I'm thinking about them for the Maritime.

Like Joe said,, My buddies are gonna have to chip in more this year for a trip on the boat. It always works out and we always have fun. TT^

Somehow Skip they will find a way to charge for that thing to be on the water. I know if I put an electric motor on the yak I will have to go through classes and registering it. What a joke.
-
Just picked up two Minnkota's
-
Nice Art, just read an article on electric motors, one mistake guys make with electrics is they buy ones that are under powered for the job they want it to do. rgmn
-
Well I allway's buy the biggest one like a 55 pound trush for the back and the Bow will have the same but you will never use it more then half the speed for fishing. Some thing like that ;D
