Just a little info to pass along.......If your looking for a great spring spot to fish with a Kayak,Boat or just sit in the car and keep warm......Then this place is worth your time to try your luck.
Just South of the bridge that everyone fishes off at Oyster Creek is a road called Bay Parkway, there is a light at the intersection, make that left, then make another left on Dock Road..... just a short drive up on the left hand side is a park open to the public.
Great parking.....Boat ramp......Fish cleaning area.....Bathrooms.....Play area for the kids....
Throw your bait out and sit in the car and keep warm......This area is just up from the bridge on RT.9.....so yes you are fishing in the Oyster Creek.....
Enjoy the fun of the new sport called car fishing.....

We were going down tomorrow in the AM. I will have to give it a try, it looks good on Google. Can you walk any of the banks or is there private land on both sides?

Paul......Its a great place for like a rain day.... You can park up to the rail and the water is right there.....Its just a great all around spot and if the ramp is right there then the water should be plenty deep....
Not much of a bank...... But I would say 150 -200 Yards of fishing area....

That sounds great. I will let you guys know how we do. We are going to get out there in the AM and fish for a while or till the weather closes in.

Thanks a lot! I have trouble getting around so I'm always looking for easily accessible spots.

By looking at Google Earth it is part of Oyster Creek. We will be down there today in the AM so if anyone wants to meet up Just look for 2 guys looking dazed at the water wondering it it will be a good early season or not.
Happy Catching

I've fished there many times. Large rock piles are abundant there, so lots of snags. Very fast moving current when the plant is running. Great area to catch bait due to the warm water
