Well that might be a little extreme but it is almost cause for celebration. I have it on good word that the leading edge of the Spring migration is up to Cape May. They have been starting to catch some nice size fish down there, so it won't be long before we all start to see more and more bass off our coast before long.
Today was the first report I have hard of bunker entering Barnagate Inlet and being followed by some hungry blues. There also have been sightings of bunker in the bay in the location of the mouth of the Toms River between Good Luck Point and the Mathis bridge.
If you have a chance try and get out early this week for some early fishing fun.

Paul, you are absolutely CORRECT!!!!
My buddy Jon went on a charter yesturday down in Cape May and everyone limited out...reports of a large school of bass in cape may making their way up. Here is a pic he sent me last night. As the "Mainlander with that Aloha spirit" says get out there this week :)
