A good friend (Reel Time) told me about this site, although I am no longer a NJ resident I am interested in your site. I wish there were a site like this for NY, Long Island to narrow it down. O-well I guess I will just read about the good fishing times in NJ, and await the time that I get to go back for some real fishing fun.
Good site guys, its about time someone put something like this up. t^

Welcome aboard. Looking foward to your reports for the NY scene. What part of LI? Some guys get to Montaugh and such to fish.

Welcome KYb,
Maybe it is true that you are in the NY area but the fishing techniques are all the same. If you check out the total site we not only target fishing locations but the how toes like what type of tackle to use for a particular fish or the best type of rod and reel combo to use off the surf, etc.
So please pull up a chair reach for a cold beverage of your choice and be prepaired to become an addict of the NJSWF.COM
Happy Catching
Paul
P.S. I think that is a first, someone wishing they lived in NJ... >:D

Well TY all for the big hearty welcome it is much appreciated. :D
I am on the north shore in Commack, been on a head boat going for blues here once out of Captree and I must say compared to NJ it sucked ass. Spent my time on the water flipping fin-s rubber lures which didn't pan out so well. I think there was maybe 5 fish caught on the boat and the biggest being 12" +/- >:(. One of those where the Capt. should have handed out passes for a free ride next time you go with them type of trips.
Maybe some other NYers will hit me up and show me around a little, if not I guess I have to start playing around on my own.

you where supposed to come down a "month" ago so we could do some fishing,,

HEY THERE MOM!
Well I don't want the cursed spot!
May be better off giving up your spot though I am sure bait will be slung at some point in time. The boat prob. hasn't been properly blessed with Duder and Loco antics yet.
