Title: Looking for cheap boat storage around Raritan / Sandy Hook
Post by: bassnblues on May 25, 2011, 10:50:13 AM
Well, I was going to sell my boat this year but with aggravtion with the broker, low ball offers and seething jealousy of all the great fishing reports on here, I've decided to keep it.

Can anyone recomend an inexpensive place for storage around Raritan Bay / Sandy Hoook? Rack storage or a slip would be best but I'd consider storing it on the trailer and launching.

If keeping on a trailer, I would consider The Skipper Shop in Atlantic Highlands. Just a short hop to the Municipal Ramp.
For slips, try Monmouth Cove Marina or Lentze for rack storage. I used to keep mine at Olsen's Boat Works in Keyport on a trailer and use the ramp. Problem there was its steep and low water was an issue, but that may have changed since 1987-88.

Scott, enjoy the boat. Try Skippers outside A.H.M. or, Raritan bay Marina,or Lentze's off Lurel Ave.Maybe Browns in Keyport or Keyport Boat Basin can do some thing too. Good Luck.
