I read it, based on the position given (east of the earl), Coast guard was all over that spot in mere minutes. Someone would have seen something, a mast, floating debris, people floating in the gray dinghy they claimed they had, etc. It's a hoax from some seriously sick people. It's a wonder that coast guard saves so many people, having to wade through nonsense like this all the time. I hope they catch them and punish them to the full extent of the law, kids or not.
