Title: ReelTime chicken canyon 7/5 new improved report

Left the dock at 3am broke the inlet and turned east for a 3 hour ride in search of the clear blue water the tuners love so much.

Finally arrived to the grounds to find we where basically the 1st ones there. Tried the bait, tried the jigs, and squeezed in a 10 mile troll to round out the day with nothing more than a monster blue.

Made it there and back in a "small" boat with out issue, and that makes it a succesful trip in my book. I'll get'em next time.

Was real nice going out with the buddy system, wih a hell of a crew hotrod had assembled.

Not much more to add except cant wait for the next adventure offshore as one of the little guys going big,,,,, outta my way oversized 30-40' bitches,,, Reel Time's coming through

Also real close to 150 miles round trip burning 60gals, leaving 45gals in the tank to spare

 definently good times.

 what i really need to do is get out with experienced guys and figure out all i need to know. i can read for weeks, but nothing beats on hands learning.

 take my trolling spread for instance, had it all planned and figured out, when it came time, i choked and sure i jacked it all up. and gonna take abit to get used to the jigging style, but think i was picking it up towards the end,,, gonna need some educational trips, yea thats what i'll call them,,, research
