Guys first off I'm posting for MR Charters.. Capt Richie is having a boat issue for a few weeks. So I'm lending a helping hand to a Great Friend using my ride for Tuna trips!
Todays Charter was with Brian ( Bacs) and his group of first timers. Rick, Pete and Duane all got to experience what a bluefin can do to grown men quickly.. The Guys each had opportunities to hook up and fight quality tuna. The group went 2 for 5 on jigs. Jigs used today were Stingo PBJ 200 and Stingo Star 200.. We boxed up our under fish and release a second under.. We dropped a few fish boatside, one being our over fish. Amazing how you fight a fish for 30 minutes to only see him come unbutton feet befor kissing steel. The guys also had a shot at some Mahi with Brian puttting a nice bulll mahi in the boat.. Mahi hit a jig also..
The Conditions were fishable but a little sporty at times. However the Sykk Physh did it job as usual and handle the seas great.. Big thanks to the guys and Capt Rich for another great day!!!
