Walton Family Foundation gives millions to ocean privatization efforts

In a August 16th news release from Wal-Mart corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas, the Walton Family Foundation announced investments totaling more than $71.8 million awarded to various environmental initiatives in 2010, with over $36 million alone handed over to Marine Conservation grantees including Ocean Conservancy, Conservation International Foundation, Marine Stewardship Council, World Wildlife Fund and Environmental Defense Fund (EDF).
Money is going to fund CLOSED FISHING Area's (as in California and several other states). Funding for THE "CATCH SHARES" program. How long have I been talking about that???
Yet Wal-Mart has destroyed way too many Mom and Pop businesses wherever the build a new store. Now they want to control the ocean???
Another problem for me is that this money was probably "TAX DEDUCTIBLE" kinda like use it or loose it......So what do we do??? >:(

Already been posted Captain. The private guys do care. A lot can't/aren't as passionate as others.
I personally, will never set foot in a walmart again. Unless they change their ways of who they support.
