Title: IBSP Flukin 8/22
Post by: ChrisL on August 22, 2011, 06:13:10 PM
Made a long overdue trip out to the park this morning.  I haven't fished in almost 2 months due to working on the house.
Hit the top end of the park first.  Walked a stretch of more than 1/2 mile.  Had 2 fluke to 16.5in and one huge robin.  Had several other missed hits.
Moved down to the inlet after lunch.  Wind against the tide along with some gear issues made things difficult.  No fluke here.  Saw only 1 fluke caught, couple baby Cbass, 1 big speared tog and TONS of blowfish.  Anything you threw in, the blowfish would bite at.  Good for the kids, not so good if you were flukin (they took the tails off a dozen Gulp).
Great day to be out on the sand and it felt great to get out and do some catching.

Same here Chris.  I have not been out for a long time either.  I am hoping to get out some time this week as my wife has off and we just might get to go kayaking out back.
