Title: ??Fish Finders??
Post by: shadyvito on March 25, 2007, 02:20:08 PM
I fish on a budget so I'm looking for a cheap fishfinder that will work good on my Jon boat and my float tube.  The cheapest I saw was a Hummingbird that you wear like a watch for about sixty bucks.

The other is the Fishing Buddy 1200 that goes for about 140 dollars.

I've read good things and bad about both so I'm looking for advise from some people I trust. What do you guys think? Any others I should look at?

i recently went to consumer marine electronics in wall twp.  they offered a great deal of products all on display and the salesman was helpful as well as honest (its wierd to call a salesman honest!!)

For the products u listed, a friend of mine has had a bottom line fishfinder for a long, long time.  He's had it for as long as i can remember being on his boat and he says he wouldnt change it for the world.
