Had a crew of five today. Me, Lou, Dave, George and Paul.
We had the wind coming from the SouthWest at about 15-20 and 2-4 foot seas coming from the SouthEast. Somehow this gave us a slow East drift. Water temperature was 76 degrees. Ocean conditions were very fishable. Thanks again Mr Weatherman for keeping a lot of boats off of the water today with your predictions. We had the ocean to ourselves.
We fished seven spots that are fairly close together. The most productive was 60 feet of water off of the 7 president's park. Total catch today was 11 keeper fluke. We had wayyyy to many throwbacks today. I can't remember when we had so many short fluke. The throw back to keeper ratio today was about 10 to 1. Only had a couple of skates, no robins and two smooth doggie, which were turned into bait.
George had the big fish for the day with a keeper fluke that taped out at 23 1/2 inches.

Short fluke are much better than no fluke. You make me jealous becuase you seem to get on the water almost every day.

Wow Joey. We had no treat of bad weather at all on the water. It was overcast but no sign of rain at all. Then again, it never rains when you are fishing. TT^
