After much consideration and little regard for the Sport Fishing industry or the trickle down effect on the economy, the ASMFC-MAFMC and NMFS have all agreed to the following regulations for 2008:
Fish you will be allow to catch: None
Fish you will be allowed to Hook and release: None
However to keep an interest in the sport, a fisherman will be allowed to ride over fish and read them on his/her fish finder, this will only be allowed with a $50.00 permit, re-newed yearly.
I know I am being a tad sarcastic, but believe me we are headed down this road :( >:( :'(

How much to watch the commercial guys haul in fish?
-
Rod I think thats going to be about 70.00$/h.
They will charge 400.00$ for them to bring you way out and let you watch them throw nets in and catch every species you can name.
I'm looking forward to 2008 and beyond.
