Title: Staten Island fishing - any reports?
Post by: pktaske on August 12, 2007, 08:35:26 PM
Haven't read much here about the Red bank Reach, Ward Point, etc. Anyting going on there? I tried a couple times when I first got my boat but I've been treking to the Higlands mostly. Some years that whole area would turn hotter than all heck around now.

My guess is less people willing to fluke there because of the NY regs.

Less Jersey peeps anyway.

caught a 24 incher Red Bank reach last week between 38 and 39 buoy, went just over 4 lbs.action doesn't seem to be to heavy in the back bay but more keepers than shorts.try to stay on Jersey side with the different size and limit regulations.
