Title: 11-18 Seaside Report
Post by: captainbailey on November 18, 2011, 02:02:24 PM
Got on the beach about 5:45 with nice flat seas. Fished ava-17's to catch 6 bass which were right around the keeper mark, but no one around me had a tape measure 5hrug Not worth the fine to eat for a day. Fish were stacked up tight in a cut and were gorging on sand eels yet again. I even caught a skate in all this action, do they ever go away?

Nice catch.  t^

And now for a public service announcement... measure from the butt of your rod and wrap some electric tape on your rod at the 28" mark . No need to carry a tape. Put your catch on the sand and place the rod over the fish. One less thing to remember to bring as it's always with you. TT^
