Fished the park today from late morning thru the afternoon. Low tide thru high tide. SSW wind 15. Strong current. Still LOTS of bait.
Yet another great day of fishing. Finished the day with 15 bass from rats to about 12lbs. All fish safely released.
Today was the first trip out with the new toy....Van Staal 200. Popped it's cherry within the first 10 minutes of fishing TT^. Great real, smooth as butter and solid as a rock.
Had a lot of fish on the teaser today. The teaser directly above the real sandeel is the one they were hitting today. I wonder why?

I bit slower out there today. Conditions were tough too. Strong current and hard SSW wind made it tough.
Still managed 2 shorts for the day.
That says something about the season when 2 fish is a slow day in the middle of December.
