Post by: Bucktail on February 11, 2012, 10:44:17 PM: The "how big is it" question was never answered. But, it looks like something I saw in an ad in the back of a fishing magazine a loooooooong time ago.

The object in the ad was designed to make sure the fish, once hooked, can't get off. Hence the hinged jaws, similar to a Boga Grip.

I'm not saying that is definitely what it is. But it does remind me of it.
