Title: Ready for another season.
Post by: ped579 on February 11, 2012, 11:45:10 PM
Had nothing better to do today ao I went over to IBSP to get my 2012 season pass.  Always wondering about the number one receives, well it was lower than last year.  This year I even waited later to get it, but to my surprise the lower number was really not much of a surprise.

This year, in all their infinite wisdom, the state decided to raise the our of state passed from $195.00 to $225.00.  This might sound great to some but just by looking at the fewer passes given out means loss of revenue to the area businesses.

I for one had no problem with the old way and in fact I have made a number of good friends that are from Pa. that are not sure if they will re up this year at all.  Especially with the price of fuel getting ready top go through the roof.  They are talking about getting back into fresh water fishing again.  Less money and less in gas to get to some great places.

What is your opinion on this?  I vote keeping the rate the same for all as it will hurt some good friends in the ol' pocket book, if ya know what I mean.

Happy Catching

Paul

I think the gas price is going to be a BIG  problem this season. We are already at 3.47 a gal. Usually it is low this time of year.
