Hey guys. Getting a Garmin 740s installed in my new sea hunt 232 c.c. I want and like the idea of the flush mount for this unit. The other option is a bracket mount on top of the console, which I'm sure you have all seen. If I get this unit flushed mounted, I won't really be able to take it on and off after I'm done for the day, but the other way mounted on top, I will. I can remove it after the season by undoing a few screws. Does anyone see a problem with flush mounting it , and leaving on the boat like that for the season? It has a cover, and is waterproof.
