Title: Surf Fishing in Wildwood , New Jersey
Post by: Drama on March 29, 2012, 11:18:32 AM
I'd like to know when the striper action will start picking up along the Wildwood beaches ?? I'm assuming bunker & blood worms will be the bait of preference . Any advice / suggestions will be appreciated .

Welcome

Fish are not like trains...they do not run on a set schedule. I'd start looking soon though

Welcome Drama,

Just heard today that up here in Ocean County the stripers are just off the beaches and are hitting on bunker and herring.  I heard of catches of 22# fish being caught.  Not to much from the beaches as of yet.

Why not be one of the first to report on the site of catching down south.  Everything this year seems to be ahead of schedule though.  Give it a try and let us know how you did.

Happy Catching

Paul
