Title: Fishing during a full moon
Post by: young gull on March 31, 2007, 06:30:26 AM
I was wondering what others thought about this subject.
I understand the moon and it's phases has an effect on fishing as well as humans and all wildlife.........Also has an effect on the tides as well, the full moon coming up is the "spring tide" that will create the highest tide of the day...For some reason this makes fish hungry!!
I know anytime you can fish is the best time, but if you can narrow this window to be more productive......Why not fish then?
                            Thanks,
                               Young Gull

Hi Guys,

I have an outline of an article on one of my computers in Toms River. I will post it Wednesday when I get back.

This is an interesting topic ...

Thanks,

Capt. Ed

Hey guys. 1st post. I find that in my area near NY harbor the current is way too strong during a full moon and I usually don't do well. However, I think 2-3 days before and after are good if my memory is right. By the way nice look to the site.
