Title: Let's Bucktail some Fluke
Post by: ReelFun on April 09, 2012, 01:05:03 PM
Fellow Anglers,

Now that Fluke season is less than a month away, Reel Fun Sportfishing will be "bucktailing" for Fluke throughout the 2012, not exclusively, but for those who know the fine art of this type of fishing far more than drifting bait.

As a charter business, most of my novices will be drifting bait but we will actively be teaching those who want to learn this technique of bagging much larger fish.

I'm aware that most of the people reading this thread are boat owners, but if you know of anyone looking to book a charter fishing trip bucktailing for Fluke, send them my way. My mates and I really enjoy teaching "newbies" the fine art of this type of fishing and seeing the faces of these beginners when they haul up a 6, 7 or 8 lb. beast. What a rush!

Although I do Striper fishing with the spring and fall run of Bass, Fluke is my real passion, so for those of you who want to try your hand at bucktailing with us, let's get it on!

Good to know Capt John.

I friend of mine won the charter trip you donated for the banquet and he invited me along for the trip. Can't wait to go. I'll let you hone my skills (which are so-so on) on jigging for fluke.  t^
