Anyone have luck with preserving bunker for future use? We were discussing trying to pack them in heavy brine solution in bucket in freezer? It seems a shame to toss them at days end, and especially since their abundance is sometimes shortlived.

I haven't found one good way to freeze them.  When the4y that they just turn to mush.  The link above looks promising but alot of work, and I don't have a hug freezer.  Honestly I'd love to get a bait grinder and maybe just grind them up for chum.

Hey Dennis! You get out there yet? We had a good trip, two weeks ago, limited out on stripers trolling, and then this past sunday, one keeper fluke, two shorts, and all the blues you wanted on the 20 bunker we snagged first thing! Not one bass though, blamed it on super moon! Threw at least 8 bunker back at days end, maybe i need to get a cheap blender!
