After a nice stable week with great weather, this weekend will usher in a changing pattern. This weekend will be hot and humid with a greater chance of rain and/or thunderstorms. The greatest chance for storms will be Sunday. Heavy rainfall is possible during these thunderstorms. Of course, temperatures along the immediate coast and out on the water will be 3-5 degrees cooler than inland. Water conditions are rated good overall, except some cautious conditions on Sunday for the bordering and offshore waters. Water temperatures are up as well, with most waters around 78 degrees or warmer.
Weak low pressure will move northeast this weekend along a warm front just off the Mid Atlantic Coast. The warm front will continue moving north through Sunday, followed by a cold front at the beginning of the week. Hot and humid Bermuda High Pressure will then move into the area through midweek.
