As much as I hate to do this... :( rgmn
I'm offering up for sale my 2006 Scout 280 Vintage .."Fluka Brasi" .. Fluka's a sweet, economical fishing boat... a proven fish killer.. ;) powered by a 320 hp Cummins/Mercruiser Diesel/Bravo 3 powerplant. Absolutely LOADED with accessories, options and amenities.. Approx 400 hrs! Original Owner-- Professionally serviced/maintained since new-- fresh bottom /drive paint yearly--
As described by the manufacturer:
Scout's 280 Vintage is the result of a design partnership between Scout and Cummins MerCruiser, and the retooling of a 280 Abaco to accommodate a standard CMD 4.2 Electronic Sterndrive 300 hp diesel engine. The Vintage offers more than 50 square feet of fish-fighting room and a long 500-mile cruise range with just a 140-gallon fuel tank. This model can reach top speeds of approximately 43 mph and cruising speeds of 30 mph. All of the standard 280 Abaco features remain, with the addition of a full stern Flexi-teek platform, twin port and starboard portholes, a bow thruster and a deluxe stern seat/motorbox.

Thanks for the kindness fellas.. slt It is breaking my heart to see him go.. but ya know what they say about desperate times... Even if my biz where going better, I would still be looking to downsize some.. for the kind of fishing I do mostly, I really don't need this much boat..I think I would be better served and get more use out of something I can trailer.. be able to take it home in the winter and save storage fees.. plus I'd be able get around more like I used to, and fish some different venues.. But fear not.. I won't be boatless.. I still have my 2 other henchmen.. my 18 Jon "Clamenza", and a 14' puddle jumper v-hull, little "Fredo" t^ and I'll surely end with some other salt worthy vessel before too long after Fluka's gone.. Jaybird, $100.00 a mo. is tempting.. My calcs show you would have it paid off in just a little over 60 years.. pawle that income may come in handy when I'm 110.. hhppy chrz chrz
