Hello everyone,
I have spent the last two weeks in LBI. I stay on the southern end of the island (Holgate).
Well the first week was kind of a bust. It was very bad weather. Towards the end of the week the fishing picked up. I caught my fair share of King Fish but could not find any Croakers. The second week, was beautiful. The weather could not have been more perfect. In the morning I was having fun catching cocktail size blue fish, as well as King Fish. At night I went for the strippers. I had a total a five for the two weeks, all caught at night and all on clam and all shorts but fun anyway. Also caught too many dogfish to count. Great time with the family.

Too bad the park was closed because of the nesting birds but it sounds like you did OK any way. Good job...
Happy Catching
